The guide through our exhibition is a little boy Johann, who really lived in our farmhouse in the past and experienced the turbulent history of the first half of the 20th century.

The pilgrimage complex with a monumental church was built in the 18th century by the monastery of Plasz. The architectural concept of J. B. Santini was completed in 2021 with the unique addition of a second ambulatory. This national cultural monument is the seat of the Museum and Gallery of Northern Pilsen. The surrounding landscape bears the prestigious European Heritage designation.

The Church of St. John the Baptist is one of the most mysterious places in Bohemia. Bizarre wall paintings from the 14th century. A combination of human and animal bodies, reminiscent of chimeras from the Bestiary rather than depictions of saints. There are also naked women with breasts on their backs, demonic orcs and others. This is a unique world phenomenon.

Mentberger, it has managed to gather collections of tin, cast iron, porcelain, faience, stoneware, as well as German, French, Italian and Spanish ceramics, as well as a collection of local pottery, pipe making and Kasey embroidery.
