Medicanima Scintivet is a specialized nuclear medicine center for small animals. It brings treatment of hyperthyroidism in cats with radioactive iodine. It acts specifically on the thyroid tissue that overproduces hormones, while healthy tissue remains intact.

The department focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and dispensary of patients with thyroid tumors treatable by nuclear medicine and on patients with more severe forms of thyroid orbitopathy.
