The museum is one of the oldest Moravian regional museums. Short-term exhibitions are held in the gallery of the Alfons Mucha Memorial. Our permanent exposition of the lapidarium is located in the castle in Oslavany.
This functionalist villa, designed by Ernst Wiesner for the family of textile manufacturer Alfred Stiassni, was completed in 1929 and occupied until 1938. The tour lasts about 50 minutes, capacity is 20 people.
We offer a unique and comprehensive exhibition of everyday life, which contains 25,000 objects from the 1950s to the 1990s. There are exhibits ranging from children's toys to mixed goods, radios and other appliances to automobiles of the time, agriculture.
