In our branch there are permanent exhibitions on the earliest history of the settlement of Moravia and the whole European continent.
Offering tours of the building, which is an example of folk architecture. Possibility of organizing celebrations, weddings, important anniversaries, cultural events for the public. Can also be used as a rehearsal room for folklore groups. Capacity is maximum 50 people.
Cultural facilities of the city. Large hall can accommodate 200 people. It includes a small stage in the front with facilities, an adjoining hall with a buffet and a balcony at the back. The small hall has a capacity of 50 people. The facility is used for theatre performances, cultural events, lectures, weddings or family celebrations.
The Museum of the Village of Southeast Moravia. Here you will find folk architecture from the 18th century onwards, examples of original building techniques, folk crafts, traditional agriculture and animal husbandry, the history and development of viticulture and original crop varieties. Specialise in organising short and long term exhibitions. We offer consultancy and information services for tourists, students and researchers. We provide video presentations of films in the exhibition hall, photography, filming, photocopying and printing of museum materials.
The museum is one of the oldest Moravian regional museums. Short-term exhibitions are held in the gallery of the Alfons Mucha Memorial. Our permanent exposition of the lapidarium is located in the castle in Oslavany.
We run a museum with an exhibition depicting rural life in the first half of the last century. Mainly farm machinery and tools are on display, but also a display of rural living including household furnishings.
