The school allows for the integration of children with specific learning disabilities, children of foreign nationality or the presence of an assistant for children with specific learning disabilities, especially in the first grade.

The kindergarten is located on the outskirts of Trhový Štěpánov in close proximity to the primary school. The capacity of the school is 68 children. The headmistress of the school is from 1st August 2024 Mgr. Pavla Veselá. The teaching staff consists of 6 teachers and 2 teaching assistants.
