The Central Bank of the Czech Republic supervises the financial market, determines monetary policy, issues banknotes and coins, and regulates money circulation, payments and bank settlements. The Bank conducts economic research on monetary policy, macroeconomic modelling, financial stability, the real sector and fiscal policy.
