Already at that time, there was probably a Gothic fortress with a manor house, which was lent to the Austrian nobleman Siegfried Sirotek by the Czech King Wenceslas I in 1249. We offer tours of the castle. The first written mention of Valtice dates back to 10 January 1193, when Bishop Wolfger of Passau exchanged the castle with Wichard of Seefeld. Valtice then became the hereditary domain of this family. It is possible to organize weddings, concerts, presentations, banquets, congresses, social and cultural events.

Offering tours of a replica castle ruin. Jan's Castle is part of the Lednice-Valtice area, it was built near a hunting preserve, on a place surrounded on three sides by the river Dyje. It served as a hunting castle. After the hunts, rich feasts were held here, where the King of the Hunt was announced. It was possible to organise weddings.

The newly reconstructed restaurant Zlatá Terasa is located in the sub-castle of Valtice Castle. It is a place where we will treat you to the right gastronomic experience. It includes a spacious castle terrace with a view of the herb garden and the castle park.

Operation of the castle in which the series Chetnik humoresky (I. series) was filmed. Židlochovice Castle is one of the best preserved hunting castles in Europe and together with the historic pheasantry and deer preserves it creates a unique hunting complex, continuing the centuries-old hunting tradition of this area.

I run a guesthouse with a total capacity of 28 beds. There is internet, shared kitchen with all equipment, fridge, microwave and kettle. We provide meals, a tour of the castle, a visit to the wine cellar, parking and bicycle storage in the courtyard.

Between 1586 and 1596, the original water fortress was rebuilt into a Renaissance single-storey chateau. This was done under Bernard Ludwig Tovar of Enczesfeld. It is possible to organize weddings.
