The pension is located in the spa town of Staré Splavy, which is famous for its healing air. The uniqueness of the building is, among other things, due to its romantic location above Lake Macha. The idyllic landscape of Macha Lake offers walking, hiking, cycling routes and trips to interesting destinations.

Year-round tours of the richly furnished and luxuriously decorated historical interiors from the second half of the 19th century, when Zákupy served as a summer residence for members of the Habsburg ruling family. The castle park is also open from April to October. Souvenirs for sale, wedding ceremonies and cultural events.

Offer tours of the castle ruins. Probably in the 1360s, Czech King Přemysl Otakar II took advantage of the dominant hill above the older manor and built a solid stone castle on it to defend the trade route and against the expansion of the neighbouring families of Ronovec and Markvartice. It is possible to organize weddings.

The fairy tale The Princess with the Golden Star, The Crown Prince and the series Hospital on the Edge of Town were filmed in the castle.

Tours of the medieval castle. The films The Emperor's Baker and The Baker's Emperor, Adolphe, The Devil Knows Why, The Bell Luke and The Mystery of the Old Bambitka were filmed here. The originally medieval castle, which is mentioned in historical sources from the first half of the 13th century, was one of the first manor castles in our territory.

We offer for rent a historic, listed farmhouse with extensive grounds in a quiet area. The farmhouse is an ideal place for family celebrations, weddings and other events, but also for trips around the area.

We offer accommodation with a total capacity of 26 beds in 8 rooms with shared bathroom facilities. We provide accommodation for hiking stays, sports camps and individual stays or ski training for elementary schools and outdoor schools for kindergartens and elementary schools.
