The Museum of the Bohemian Countryside, a branch of the National Museum of Agriculture, is housed in Kačina Castle, one of the most important Empire buildings in the Czech Republic. The museum offers several guided tours or independent exhibitions. Throughout the year you can visit events or theatre performances.

We offer accommodation in log cabins. The capacity of accommodation is 200 people. Possibility to organize weddings in the countryside, children's summer camps, schools in the countryside.

The castle is one of the oldest castles in Bohemia and is still owned by the Sternberg family, who founded it in 1241. Originally a Gothic castle, it was rebuilt several times, especially in the Baroque period, when its interiors took on an almost castle-like appearance. The tour of the castle takes about 50 minutes.

Family house converted into 3 apartments with capacity for up to 13 people, all apartments have fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TV and terrace. They have separate entrances. We are building a lockable bike building for you.
