We are bros from a village in the Polabí region where everyone has to know how to fix a bike, mix concrete, kick a fichtl and shoot an air rifle. Vojta is a brewer, a former homebrew guy and at that time a philute. Tomas is an architect and motivator. There's only one thing in the world we like better than a lazy life in the country. We run a brewery.

Our goal is to brew really good beer, especially traditional Czech lagers are and will be our pride and flagship. We will also brew seasonal beers and various specials. We have our own brewer, Mr. Jan Žižka, whose name fits perfectly with the story of the Abbotovice monastery.

The idea of expanding the restaurant to include a brewery was realized in 2020. The restaurant has almost a century of tradition and having its own beer was lacking. We brew unfiltered, unpasteurized, honest beers. You can taste classic lagers and top-fermented beers with us.
