A public benefit society founded by Zdeněk Svěrák and the Svaz Svaz paraplegiků civic association. Since 1994 it has been helping people in wheelchairs after spinal cord injury and their families to cope with difficult life situation. The main service is residential social rehabilitation.

We are a registered provider of personal assistance and also employ people with disabilities as personal assistants. We assist mainly seniors and people with disabilities, including children and their families in a variety of personal and social situations.

Our mission is to enable people with disabilities to enjoy their leisure time to the full in the way they choose. Our events are generally divided into weekend events for younger (up to 15 years) and older people, and we also organise one-day events for all ages.

ERGO Aktiv, o. p. s. is a neurorehabilitation centre that helps mostly younger people after a stroke, head injury or other brain damage. We use modern methods to support the return to active life and increase the self-sufficiency of our clients.

We run a day care centre for people with combined disabilities and autism spectrum disorders aged from 1 year to 64 years. The capacity of the facility is 15 clients. Attendance is based on the individual wishes of the clients and also on the available capacity of the facility.

We provide an offer of help to people with multiple sclerosis in the form of medical rehabilitation and social counselling. We specialise in providing members meetings and convalescent stays.
