The faculty offers education in the fields of education, special education and education. The faculty includes the departments of music, art or physical education, technical and occupational education, the department of mathematics with didactics, pedagogy and andragogy as well as the department of social pedagogy and others.

Faculty provides teaching in the field of art and design. Offering bachelor and master degree programmes and lifelong learning. Organizes exhibitions and a summer art school to prepare students for admission. Cooperates with international schools.

Tomas Bata University is an open and flexible university. More than 9000 students study at six faculties of UTB in engineering and technology, economics, arts, informatics, humanities and medical programmes. The university is also characterised by its well-developed science and research.
