The Jesuit Library contains a book collection made up of the estates of members of the Czech Province of the Society of Jesus, donations from benefactors at home and abroad, and targeted acquisitions. It is in the care of a purpose-built Jesuit institution in a rented house of the Metropolitan Chapter of St. Wenceslas.

We provide a community library service with a wide selection of book interpretations. Magazines are also available in our library.

We provide lending services, interlibrary loans. We provide free internet.

We operate a municipal library. We lend educational books, fiction, magazines and music. Internet access is available. We run adult, children's and youth sections, a reading room, a study room and an internet centre. We organise educational and entertainment events, exhibitions, competitions and thematic talks.

We are engaged in collecting, processing and making available documents and information of a predominantly biomedical nature.
