We run a primary school for 450 pupils with a day care, dining room and school club. We offer English lessons. We organize competitions, excursions, concerts, ski courses, school balls and exhibitions. We take part in various projects, collect paper, aluminium and create a school magazine. We run after-school clubs.

We run a library with a range of books in various genres for children and adults. The library currently has 3098 books and subscribes to regularly arriving magazines.

The Faculty of Horticulture is an institution with a long tradition of horticultural research and education in the Czech Republic. It provides higher education in the full range of horticultural disciplines and at all levels, in full-time and combined form, in the environment of the Lednice-Valtice area.
