The institute provides training in fruit growing, viticulture, fruit nursery and tropical and subtropical fruit growing. It also studies fruit species, their varieties, diseases and pests.

We organize competitions, excursions, concerts, ski courses, school balls and exhibitions. We take part in various projects, collect paper, aluminium and create a school magazine.
