The Department of Planning and Historic Preservation operates the departments of the Office of Planning and the Department of Historic Preservation.

We provide maintenance of the vehicle register, performance of state professional supervision in road transport, administration of the agenda concerning driving schools and traffic offences. The department processes data on the withdrawal of driving licences and their restoration or assigns registration plates to road motor vehicles.

The Department provides for the operation of technical services, cemetery management, housing and non-residential premises management, the course of execution of community service sentences, the management of residential buildings owned by the city, the management and operation of waste collection sites and the management of public lighting.

Exercises state administration within the scope of the municipal authority of the municipality with extended jurisdiction under the Building Act, except for zoning. Within this competence, it issues, in particular, decisions on the location of buildings, planning consents, consents for notified buildings, building permits, permits changes to buildings, etc.

The Investment Department in the area of project preparation prepares documents of a construction nature, ensures project preparation, prepares the opinions of the city, assesses investment plans and projects of other investors and, on the basis of a mandate, acts for the city as a party to proceedings under Act No. 183/2006 Coll.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.

City Management. Administration of the public school system. The department shall prepare the annual budget, budget measures and budget amendments or sales tax including returns. Specializes in controlling attendance evaluations, handles school attendance infractions.

The Department of Environment and Agriculture carries out the exercise of state administration in delegated competence in the following areas: air protection, nature and landscape protection, waste management, plant health care, water management, protection of agricultural land, protection of animals against cruelty and others.

We focus on the maintenance of the vehicle register, the performance of state professional supervision in road transport and the administration of the agenda relating to driving schools or traffic offences. We decide on the permanent and temporary withdrawal of road vehicles from service and approve the technical fitness of vehicles.

We provide management of public spaces of the city and roads. We carry out comprehensive maintenance of local roads, public spaces and greenery of the city.

Issuance of decisions on granting of concession, on suspension of trade. Maintenance of the trade register. The Department shall record in the Trade Register the suspension of the trade at the request of the entrepreneur and issue a notice of fact. Suspends and revokes trade licenses in administrative proceedings.

The department provides environmental protection. It takes care of the citywide registration of green areas. Manages municipal waste charges. Deals with waste management issues. Handles environmental applications.

Provision of civil registry and population registration. We manage the agenda of identity cards and travel documents. We handle ceremonies, birth, marriage and death certificates, certificates of legal capacity to marry. We verify the conformity of copies with the document and authenticate signatures.

The Finance Department is primarily responsible for the annual preparation of the city budget, controlling its implementation and its adjustment by budgetary changes during the year. It also handles all financial operations and movements in the City's bank accounts, including the administration of loans received.
