The Department orders the removal of buildings, notifies building permits and decisions on extending the validity of building permits, receives notifications to the building authority, applications for landscaping, applications for approval and building permits, and issues decisions on changes in the use of buildings.

The department provides driver registry information, exchanges and issues driver's licenses, implements driver license suspensions and restrictions, administers the point system, makes decisions on provisional license suspensions, and is the administrator of the public space use fee.

The branch carries out state administration in the field of air protection, water authority, waste management, protection of agricultural land, nature and landscape, animals against cruelty, plant health care, forestry, hunting and fishing.

The Department is composed of the sections of registration and control of entrepreneurs and registration of agricultural entrepreneurs. It issues certified outputs from public administration registers - Czechpoint and carries out vidimation and legalisation.

The Department administers the budget, taxes and fees, accounting and regional development, and performs the tasks entrusted to it in the preparation, negotiation, approval and implementation of the budgets of contributory organisations established by the City and in the control of the management of their funds.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.

It is a body of the City of Pilsen, which performs its tasks in the field of territorial self-government and state administration delegated to the City of Pilsen.

It maintains the register of road vehicles, grants, conditions, restricts, withdraws, suspends and returns driving licences.

The Department provides housing support, rental and housing management.

Near Pilsen in the northwest direction is the village of Malesice with an area of 903 ha and about 606 inhabitants. The first written records of the village date back to 1239, when it was owned by Zdeslav, son of Ratmir. Malesice belongs to Pilsen as its 9th district since 2003.

The municipal district of Plzeň 2 - Slovany consists of the local districts of Božkov, Doudlevce, Hradiště, Koterov, Lobzy and Východní předměstí. The village of Lhota was probably founded by the powerful Drslavic family, who owned the territory on the right and left bank of the Radbuza River. The village of Lhota became the 10th municipal district following the agreement on annexation to Pilsen in winter 2003. It covers 389 ha in the south-western part of the town and has about 900 inhabitants.

Urban district in the southern part of the statutory city. The Litický brook and the Radbuza river, on which the České údolí dam was built, flow through the district. The first historical mention of the village dates back to 1211. In 1970, Litice was again annexed to Pilsen after six years.
