The foundation was founded by Josef Hlávka in 1904. It supports education, science, culture and art of the Czech nation. Currently, it manages the foundation's assets, mainly in the form of real estate, especially Josef Hlávka's castle in Lužany near Přeštice and the foundation's houses in Prague.

We provide promotion and presentation of contemporary Czech architecture and architecture of the Central European area. We focus on organizing exhibitions.

Our activity consists in the organization of international ceramic symposia, their presentation and promotion, mediation activities, advisory and consultancy activities and publishing activities.

Our foundation has been caring for children's school and after school activities for over 25 years. Thanks to our project "In Prague we teach children to play sports" over 9000 children a year play sports for free. We also organize an annual charity collection for the Motol Children's Oncology Hospital. Last but not least, we also help children from orphanages.

We focus on supporting the development of the work of Jan Amos Komenský. We strive to support the development of education and to contribute to the preservation or restoration of monuments. We award the Human Rights Efforts Award to key works, significant projects, initiatives and personalities. We organize various meetings.

Supporting creative activities and projects in literature, science, theatre, film, radio, television, journalism and entertainment.

The association aims to develop local community activities, shared creativity and collaboration.

We are a non-profit organization. It has licensing rights to a number of patents. Working with clients and leading international experts, we design and create interactive learning centers or museums that visitors will remember for a lifetime.

We take care of religious heritage and its development. It is an important Marian pilgrimage site in the Zlín region. We offer religious services.

We are a foundation for the protection and preservation of Czech artistic cultural heritage. We support social and charitable activities. In addition to research, publishing and promotional activities related to the work of Karel Svolinsky, the Foundation also seeks out other interesting projects in the field of visual arts.
