The Foundation was established to pursue objectives of general benefit, particularly in the areas of the development of spiritual values, science, education, sports, the protection of human health, human rights or other humanitarian values, or the protection of cultural monuments and the environment.

It supports the creation of new expositions and exhibitions and has long been working to build the LJ Museum.
