Conduct research in the fields of organic chemistry, biochemistry, and medical and environmental disciplines. We participate in education at the university level and supervise master's and doctoral theses. Our research focuses on organic synthesis, antimicrobial peptides, neuroprotective agents and more.

We are engaged in research on the composition and evolution of inanimate nature. We have a laboratory of analytical methods, environmental geology and geochemistry, geological processes, palaeobiology, palaeoecology and palaeomagnetism.
