The mission of the Social Therapy Workshop is to provide long-term support to people with mental illness, to create opportunities for self-fulfilment in the safe space of social services and to acquire or restore work and social skills.

Providing legal assistance and advice to members.

We provide social services in the Moravian-Silesian region, educate social service workers and people with disabilities, conduct talks at schools and client audits in residential services and other activities to support normal life of people with mental disabilities or mental illness.

We provide preventive educational, diagnostic and counselling care to children, adolescents and their families. We focus on work with behavioral disorders, crisis intervention and support for schools and educators.

Our aim is to seek out and then work with non-alcohol substance users in their natural environment, to support them in dealing with their life situation from a social, psychological and health perspective and to minimise the risks associated with substance use.

We care for families with children in long-term adverse social situations. The service is provided in a field form. We provide social therapeutic activities and assistance in exercising rights. We carry out educational, training and activation activities. The capacity is 9 clients.

The organization makes decisions about pension and sickness insurance benefits or the return of benefits. It collects insurance premiums and state employment policy contributions, acts in court, performs tasks in the payment of benefits abroad and ensures the issue of forms.

It provides support to families with children in long-term unfavourable social situation. In cooperation with the clients of the service, we strive to maintain the coexistence of family members and the healthy development of children in the family, strengthen their independence and strive for the social inclusion of families into society.

Through outreach services, we support people with reduced self-sufficiency to live in their natural environment. In other circumstances, a carer provides support. At the same time, it creates a space for carers to take the necessary rest and take care of their affairs.

Provision of social, professional, interpreting and social activation services for people with hearing impairment. Offer of custom-made Czech sign language courses.

We are a nonprofit organization focused on ensuring barrier-free access to buildings and mapping accessibility. We carry out the projects “Barrier-Free Opava” and “iMobility,” which focuses on expert consulting, as well as “Integration” for the construction of inclusive playgrounds. We operate the Informal Caregivers Club and the Eurokey Opava distribution point.
