We operate a secondary vocational school providing instruction in three-year courses in the fields of agricultural machinery repairer, motor vehicle mechanic, cook - waiter, mechanical mechanic (locksmith), water and sewerage installer and waterworks equipment operator, business.

Issuance of decisions on granting of concession, on suspension of trade. Maintenance of the trade register. The Department shall record in the Trade Register the suspension of the trade at the request of the entrepreneur and issue a notice of fact. Suspends and revokes trade licenses in administrative proceedings.

Management of city property and property relations. We provide forest property management, felling, planting and management of the city's forests. We maintain records of restitution and assessments. We specialize in land purchases, sales, exchanges and leases, including the preparation of contracts.

Promoting eco-friendly solutions to provide a healthier and cleaner environment to live in. We protect lynx in Sumava and Beskydy from poachers. We provide better recycling services for households in České Budějovice and South Bohemia.

Offering library, consulting and information services. The library includes a lending library for children and young adults, an adult section and an internet reading room. We promote cultural events. We lend fiction, popular science literature, maps, magazines and more. We organise literary talks and other events.

City Management. Administration of the public school system. The department shall prepare the annual budget, budget measures and budget amendments or sales tax including returns. Specializes in controlling attendance evaluations, handles school attendance infractions.

The town of Kaplice is a municipality with extended jurisdiction. It organizes various sports, cultural and social events. Primary school for 71 pupils. We cater for pupils with reading and writing difficulties, medical and combined disabilities, emotional and educational problems. There is a computer room, interactive whiteboard, data projector and projection screen, school workshops, rehabilitation and relaxation aids.

Environmental assurance. Making decisions about restricting access to forests, subdividing forest land or keeping forest management records. The department issues or withdraws hunting licenses and and clears seals and game origin tickets, approves fisherman and their deputies, and collects fees.
