Operation of the volunteer fire brigade. The fire brigade protects the lives, health and property of citizens from fires, floods and other emergencies, and provides technical assistance.

We are engaged in organizing religious services and religious meetings. We are engaged in activities with youth in the framework of games and sports events.

Operation of a folklore ensemble.

The first written report dates back to 1382. The village is located at an altitude of 439 metres.

The village lies in the eastern part of the Písek district at an altitude of 488m. It is adjacent to the cadastres of Bernartice, Veselíčko, Branice, Okrouhlá and Sepekov. To the northeast above the village rises Vlčí vrch (Wolf Hill) with a height of 513m and a view in the south to northwest direction.

We run a nursery school for 180 children with a dining room. It includes a school garden. We provide sports and cultural events, trips, excursions, pre-swim training and seasonal games for children. We offer a flute and English club.

Providing information about the victims of the communist regime in Czechoslovakia. Bringing together persons who were forced to leave Czechoslovakia for demonstrably political reasons and to seek political asylum in another country. Also, persons who engaged in foreign activities against the communist regime. Organizing exhibitions.

Maintenance of the vehicle register, exercise of state professional supervision in road transport, administration of the agenda concerning driving schools and traffic offences. Issues extracts from the trade register, makes amendments thereto and decides on the cancellation of trade licences and on the suspension of trade.
