The Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Tropical Agriculture of the Czech University of Life Sciences has the most unique and comprehensive collection of tropical and subtropical plants in the Czech Republic. These are plants used for direct consumption, i.e. fruits, vegetables, cereals, legumes, as well as textile, technical, medicinal and others.

We operate a botanical garden. Possibility to enter with a dog on a leash.

The outdoor exhibitions of the Botanical Garden are free to visit during opening hours. Entrance to the greenhouses is free of charge. There are regular exhibitions of succulents, carnivorous plants, citrus and bonsai. Works of art are displayed in the garden.

The ideal place for all generations. The complex also includes a confectionery. Of the total area of about two hectares, about half is devoted to the outdoor exhibition, the exhibition greenhouses cover an area of 2,700 m².

The First Republic Garden is a certified demonstration natural garden that can be visited by appointment. During the guided tour you will learn practical tips for successful cultivation of ornamental and utility plants.

The garden is planted with 8 varieties of Canadian blueberries (Chandler, Duke, Jersey, Bluecrop, Pink Lemonade, Bluejay, Emblue, Berkeley). Visitors can get inspiration on how to grow blueberries successfully and can also buy selected seedlings. The opportunity to sit in the shade of a 250-year-old dogwood tree.

The Arboretum serves the needs of practical and theoretical teaching of specialized subjects, especially biology, botany, silviculture and environmental science. We organise open days and other events.

We run a botanical garden with a collection of woody plants and demonstrations of their use in horticulture, complemented by collections of perennials, bulbs and ornamental grasses. We organize exhibitions, excursions and events for the public. We offer sales of plants and memorial trees. We also carry out research activities.

We run an arboretum. We organize floristic exhibitions.

The Bečov Botanical Garden offers, in addition to plant collections (outdoor only), cultural events, a campground, the Crown Pond with beaches and boating, a leisure area, refreshments, bioferrata. Plant collections from all over the world. Restoration of the garden, abandoned after World War II, began in 2005.

Operation of a botanical garden with outdoor exhibitions and pavilions. Several botanical themes are presented in the pavilions: arid Africa, aquaria, prehistory, flowering plants, cacti, australis, carnivorous plants, neotropis, large cacti, orchids and paleotropis.

We operate the botanical garden of Palacký University, with an area of 0.65 ha with outdoor expositions, which amount to about 1500 species of plants. The plants are mainly from the localities of Central Europe. A printed guide to the garden in Czech and English is available in the garden house.
