This is a three storey Baroque building of approximately square plan with a mansard roof with a dormer. The chateau was used as a hunting lodge until 1908, after which it became a family residence. With the exception of 1948-89, this is still the case today.

The foundation of the castle dates back to the late Middle Ages, approximately between 1380 and 1390, when Čeněk of Vartemberk took advantage of the natural defensive properties of the basalt rocks. Operation of a hunting lodge. We offer Baroque-style interiors, a feast hall with distinctive acoustics, a viewing gallery and a tower with an oval floor plan. On the first floor you can find a 16-metre high banquet hall with distinctive acoustics and on the second floor an observation gallery.

There are over 450 fairytale creatures that you will gradually get to know during the tours. There is also a restaurant on the premises.
