Operation of a historic castle open to the public with guided tours and permanent exhibitions dedicated to the history of the building and important personalities. It includes cultural and social events, exhibitions and programmes for visitors.

We offer a multifunctional space with unique architecture where we organize cultural events, exhibitions, workshops and weddings. Our café with a terrace invites you to relax. We are a meeting place for artists and community activities that inspire all generations.

The Municipal Cultural Centre provides the complete organisation of social life in the town and the administration of local cultural institutions.

We operate a gallery of ancient art. It includes a collection of casts of ancient sculptures. The exhibition represents a cross-section of the epochs of the development of ancient art. By prior arrangement we provide guided tours and specialist lectures for universities, otherwise tours are conducted individually.

Exhibition of expositions dealing with ethnography, mineralogy of Bohemian Paradise and Podkrkonoší, zoology, history and ethnography of Lomnicko, hunting and sports exhibition or the Memorial of the Šlecht family. The gallery focuses on the works of important regional artists.

Baroque castle from the 18th century. A purpose-built monument: chateau mini-gallery; Summer at the Chateau series of events - theatre performances, puppet shows, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, playroom, short guided tours of the chateau, summer cinema, Chateau café - indoor and outdoor spaces, play elements.

Between 1626 and 1628, Jan Amos Komenský hid with other persecuted people in a defunct chateau in Bílá Třemešné before he went into exile in Poland. A memorial hall has been located on private land here since 1958 and was relocated in 2024.

In the museum you will see the life in the Podkrkonoší region of our ancestors - agriculture, individual crafts such as: weaving, butter making, shoemaking, Ponikel ornaments and other glass products, carpentry, beekeeping, brush making, carriage and lace gallery and more. The collection focuses on the skill and artistry of the common people.

We present collections of sculptures by Czech and foreign authors, baroque sculptures and a sculpture area in nature.

Following the completion of the renovation in June 2014, a permanent exhibition of Jewish writers, playwrights and critics was opened to the public, as well as a visitor centre focusing on Jewish monuments in the region, and an exhibition and lecture hall.
