The Mining Museum in the grounds of a former underground mine offers an insight into underground and opencast mining techniques through exhibitions. The Museum of Socialist Cars presents motoring in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s-1980s. More than 50 automotive exhibits, including motorcycles, many motoring accessories and household items transport visitors back to the youth of their parents and grandparents.

The museum focuses mainly on the history of transport, the industrial and technological past and the present of the region.
