We operate a historical exposition of the city. Exhibition space is available on the ground floor of the building.

We run a town museum where you can learn about the history and life in Železnice. In the permanent exhibitions you can see the works of important native inhabitants of Železnice. We exhibit a furnished merchant's shop or a timbered cottage. We also provide exhibitions of contemporary artists, which are regularly renewed.

Here you can admire an extensive and varied collection of air rifles from the 18th century, which were used for military, entertainment or hunting purposes. In addition to air rifles and targets, there is also an exhibition of orders and decorations and a collection of knives from the 18th century.

A unique baroque monument. We invite you to the video exhibition The Journey of the Waldstein Architects and art exhibitions in the multifunctional Theatron Hall, where you will also find an Infopoint and souvenirs with original linocuts with motifs of the Waldstein Loggia.

In the centre and yet in the silence of the inner courtyard, you will find an interactive private museum in the former burgher's house, dealing with coinage and the personality of Albrecht von Wallenstein. Try stamping your own coin on a replica of the historic mint. The courtyard offers pleasant seating under Jičín's first astronomical clock.

You will visit Rumcajs' household from the time when he was not yet a famous robber but an honest Jičín craftsman. In addition to Rumcajs's shoemaker's shop, you will find Manča's herb garden, Cipisek's zoo, a playroom for children, a souvenir shop and refreshments.

The chateau orangery is a unique space that comes alive especially during occasional exhibitions. During the season, visitors can enjoy a variety of exhibitions ranging from historical displays to contemporary art to special cultural projects.

The museum traces the development of amateur theatre in the Czech Republic. The exhibition is located in four halls of the Miletín Chateau. In the museum you will see a unique collection of painted curtains, models of characters from selected productions, enter the stage and try to operate basic theatrical technical equipment.

The family house of the writer Karel Jaromír Erben houses his memorial, founded in 1811. The interior consists of period furniture, family heirlooms and watercolours to Erben's ballads by R. Švajdler.

A permanent exhibition in the cultural centre building offers a glimpse of the film and book-like prehistoric scenery that became a common element in the life and work of E. Storch and K. Zeman.

The museum is located in the former J.B.Foerster school building in Osenice. It is a regular meeting place for choirs at the Foerster's Osenice Festival.

The museum organizes short-term exhibitions. It also has archaeological, historical, book, military, numismatic and art sub-collections.
