The first written record dates back to 1238. The town is situated at an altitude of 284 metres. We have a car camp, a museum, a theatre group, a kindergarten and a primary school and an athletic stadium. We organize sports and cultural events.

We run a museum of antique prams, dolls and manufacturing patents. The exhibition of prams is accompanied by period decorations such as dolls, toys, rooms or various technical curiosities in the form of various manufacturing patents. We open over the winter by appointment.

The House of Bozena Nemcova in Červený Kostelec is managed by the local municipal cultural centre. During the summer season, pleasant summer evenings with music and wine are held in the garden of the house.

The company Spa Běloves manages and coordinates projects and activities in the area of the town of Náchod, part of Běloves, with the aim of reviving the spa and bottling industry.

We operate a town museum, which includes exhibitions of ethnography, the 1775 Peasant Uprising, mining in the Podkrkonoše region and Rtyň music. The expositions include an educational trail through mining monuments.

We provide a permanent exhibition devoted to important Hronov natives and the history of the town.

The bakery house from the end of the 18th century is one of the monuments of folk architecture. The writer lived in the house until he was ten years old, when he went to junior school in Broumov. The interior furnishings, which are used for tours, are not original, but are placed as they were when Alois Jirásek lived in the house.

The exhibition focuses on the childhood of the Čapek siblings, who used to visit their grandparents at the mill. The local environment became an inspiration for them to write a number of fairy tales. In addition to the Čapek siblings, during the tour you will also meet other important personalities connected with Hronov.

The town museum is housed in a historic 16th century house. Inside you will find an exhibition of PRIM watches, a baroque pharmacy, a hall of history, nature and crafts. There are regularly changing temporary exhibitions.
