The museum focuses on the history of the town of Stráž pod Ralskem. The permanent exhibition contains many exhibits on the history but also the present of the town. It is mainly devoted to important natives, mining but also to old photographs. Another collection is also parachutists, who are an integral part of the history of the town.

We operate a museum of glass craft. There is an exhibition of pressed and wound beads and glass flowers. The youngest products are more than 70 years old. However, we also have beads dating back 100 years. The driket itself was built in the late 19th century.

The adit is 1000 metres long and the guided tour lasts about an hour, during which it is possible to see mining machines, a battery locomotive and mining carts.

The glass exhibition of the museum offers a glimpse into the history of glass production in Železný Brod. There are also glass figurines from Železný Brod, which are one of the symbols of the town.
