Preservation of written and physical artifacts from the history of the community and surrounding area.

The museum seeks to present a vanished image of the countryside and revive its image. The exhibition is divided into several parts. One of the displays shows a cross-section of historical documents from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. There are also historical exhibits from the 19th and 20th centuries up to the establishment of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.

We operate a museum of motorcycles, mopeds and bikes with auxiliary engine. Among the exhibits you can see historical bicycles with auxiliary engine, pre-war and post-war motorcycles, mopeds domestic and from all over the world and last but not least the trend of today - modern electric bikes brand Apache.

We operate a pipe museum with approximately 300 items. We offer barrier-free access throughout the museum. The museum also includes an exhibition of the history of Prosečsko, period clothing, crockery, pottery, glass and furniture.

Visitors will learn interesting things about the history of the village (the origin of the name, historical maps of the village, the coat of arms and flag, the history of laundry, agriculture, weaving, skiing, and much more).

The museum is housed in the baroque building of the original Piarist schools, known as the scene of Alois Jirásek's Philosophical History. It offers a modern exhibition on the history of Litomyšl with archaeological excavations in situ, a number of unique objects and a rich children's program. It organizes short-term exhibitions.

The Portmoneum is a monument of European importance. Its interior was painted and furnished with original furniture by Josef Váchal in the 1920s. A visit to this unusual space is a powerful experience for everyone.

We operate a museum. Displays include historic dolls, toys, railways and houses from 1850 to the present day. The exhibition includes a children's corner.

The birthplace of Bedřich Smetana is located in the ground floor of the former castle brewery in Litomyšl, where the composer was born in 1824. There is a new exposition which will introduce you to the life and work of our most famous composer in a classical and multimedia form.

The Firefighters' Museum in Pustá Rybná was established in 2024. It is located in the attic of the firehouse, but not only there.

You will see an exhibition dedicated to the painter Max Švabinský and the Vejrych family. The local landscape inspired Švabinský to create several of his works (The Poor Country, At the Loom, Two Mothers, White Camellia). Švabinský decorated the facade of the cottage with a sgraffito called Žnečka.
