We run a museum focusing on the history of the area around Nýrsko and Strážov. We present an exposition of castles of the Pilsen region or an exposition of Professor Antonín Knight Randa. We deal with the history of the town from the 12th century to the present and folk stories of the region.
The museum is located in a house that belonged to the famous Abel glass family. The basis of the exhibition consists of furniture, paintings and crockery from their family estate. The glass on display comes mainly from the Abel glassworks. The exposition also recalls the tradition of the pottery and the death boards are also interesting.
