The former Jesuit college houses a permanent exhibition of paintings by Ludvík Kuba. The gallery presents a thematic section of his rich oeuvre. A new museum exhibition for children and adults, Puppetry in Březnice, is partly dedicated to the puppeteer of the Prácheň region, Arnoště Kopecká.

The exhibitions are located in historical operational and administrative buildings. The museum offers a ride on a mining train on the surface and underground, tours of several kilometres of tunnels and a ride on a slide.

The Kingdom of the Rose - the museum of the Vitkovec family points to a time when the Czech Kingdom was one of the strongest state formations in Europe and when a third of Europe tried to speak Czech. To discover, through the Vítkov family, the pride of the Czech nation, that is what we are trying to do.

We operate a museum in a renovated monument of an old farmhouse. We organize cultural events.

The Mariánská Štola, 532 metres long, was built between 1869 and 1870 and opened to the public in 1994. Visitors are introduced to the history of the adit and the work of the old miners in the unaltered form of the preserved brick and stone lining of the adit's ovoid profile, as well as a demonstration of the mine's workings.

The museum offers five permanent exhibitions: the Lords of Rožmitál, How Life Was in Podbrdsko, the Jakub Jan Ryba Memorial and the Czech Christmas Mass, the Aero Historic Car Exhibition and the Barn Full of Crafts. In the summer months we also prepare summer interactive exhibitions for families with children.

The museum was built by the enthusiasm of a cottager who took as his wife Jiřina Kulovaná, whose ancestors had been shrinks. We also provide information and photographs on the history and present of this once independent village, local customs, dialect, natural disasters, proverbs, etc.

We run a railway exhibition in a small private museum.

The exposition was created on the occasion of the 555th anniversary of brewing in Vysoké Chlumec, following the interruption of beer production so that the legacy of our ancestors who honoured this craft would not be lost.
