Visitors will learn interesting things about the history of the village (the origin of the name, historical maps of the village, the coat of arms and flag, the history of laundry, agriculture, weaving, skiing, and much more).

We operate a pipe museum with approximately 300 items. We offer barrier-free access throughout the museum. The museum also includes an exhibition of the history of Prosečsko, period clothing, crockery, pottery, glass and furniture.

The Sokol Hall with its main hall and a hall provides complete facilities for all kinds of cultural activities. New sanitary facilities, changing room, bar, kitchen, stage with changing rooms.

The museum depicts the life of small artisans during the 19th century. Today you will see the dwellings of a weaver, a toy maker and a factory worker with a shoemaker's workshop. Since the end of 2018, the museum is part of the National Museum of Nature.

The City Art Gallery organizes art exhibitions and maintains a pictorial collection of the city's history.

The gallery belongs to the generation of founders of the modern art market after 1989. The natural part of the exhibition activity is publishing and publishing. The birthplace of Bedřich Smetana is located in the ground floor of the former castle brewery in Litomyšl, where the composer was born in 1824. There is a new exposition which will introduce you to the life and work of our most famous composer in a classical and multimedia form.

Exposition of folk architecture in East Bohemia. Scenes for the films Lotrando and Zubejda, The Seven Ravens and the Circus Humberto series were filmed in the open-air museum. It is possible to organize a wedding ceremony in the Veselokopec chapel, in the world room of the farmhouse or in the area in front of the mill.
