Jan Palach's birth house with a small garden has seen a lot. It was created here as a place of memory of the person and deed of Jan Palach. The memorial symbolizes self-immolation as a wedge that divided society and deeply affected the fate of his entire family.

We allow you to visit a rock dwelling carved into a sandstone rock. It is a whole farm with a room, hall, barn, cellar and granary. There is also a butcher's shop and other small outbuildings.

We offer spaces for theatre performances, concerts, exhibitions, congresses and social cultural events. The main task of the company is not only to organize cultural events, but also to regularly inform the public about upcoming programs, activities and ongoing events.

The Information and Cultural Centre Stará Boleslav provides guided tours of the pilgrimage site, the Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. Wenceslas and the Church of St. Clement. Sale of devotionals, souvenirs, tourist information.

We operate a cathouse decorated with Renaissance sgraffiti. In the basement of the execution room there is an exhibition dedicated to the law of throat and torture and the history of crime in cities in the 16th to 18th centuries. In the second part of the exposition, a torture chamber is installed, equipped with objects used for securing prisoners and for torture.

Operation of a historic chateau open to the public with guided tours and permanent exhibitions dedicated to the history of the building and the region. It includes cultural events, exhibitions and educational programmes for visitors of all ages.

Offering tours in a rococo castle with a garden.

We are engaged in organizing exhibitions, expositions and lectures. The museum includes the Old Boleslav Gate as well as the Upper Castle and the Chapel of St. Anne in Panenské Břežany. We also organise a number of short-term exhibitions for children and adults, lectures, theatre performances and other events.

The fairy tale The Princess with the Golden Star, The Crown Prince and the series Hospital on the Edge of Town were filmed in the castle.

A permanent exhibition commemorating the history of the museum and the town. The founder was Ing. Jindřich Soukal. The museum was located in two rooms of the District House on the square in Venice I. As the first event, an exhibition of paintings was organized, combined with a demonstration of the first donated objects.
