We operate a museum with an exposition focused on folk culture and crafts of the Moravian Highlands. We focus on glassmaking, ironwork and the history of the town. Tours are suitable for children, adults and seniors. You will find here enlargements of folk toys and a puppet theatre. You can buy souvenirs here.

Expositions in the premises of the former water mill refer to the iron tradition of the Žďár region. Visitors will learn how medieval ironworkers obtained the basic raw materials, i.e. wood, charcoal and iron. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the last inhabitants of the building, the Brdíček family.

Operation of the municipal museum and organization of exhibitions.

The exhibition focuses on the development of the local landscape and nature through the ages. It presents the area before the arrival of man, during the medieval colonization, the development of local industry, collectivization, but also a look into the future. The aim of the nature houses is to introduce visitors to the area in all its aspects.

The Cistercian monks from the 13th century, the brilliant architect J. B. Santini Aichel or the current owners of the castle, the Kinský family, have written an extremely interesting history here. We operate a petting zoo. You will find golden pheasant, domestic ferret, Balkan dove, wood badger, mallard duck, rabbits, green iguana, guinea pigs, northern raccoon, red nose, zebra finches and water turtles.
