We operate a petting zoo. You will find golden pheasant, domestic ferret, Balkan dove, wood badger, mallard duck, rabbits, green iguana, guinea pigs, northern raccoon, red nose, zebra finches and water turtles.

Expositions in the premises of the former water mill refer to the iron tradition of the Žďár region. Visitors will learn how medieval ironworkers obtained the basic raw materials, i.e. wood, charcoal and iron. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the last inhabitants of the building, the Brdíček family.

The museum's exhibitions focus on natural history and archaeological collections, urban history, ethnography, agriculture, crafts and mining. We organize cultural and social events, exhibitions and theme days.
