The department provides instruction in Asian Studies with a focus on Chinese, Japanese and Korean philosophy.

We provide qualifying education in social work at both bachelor's and master's level. At the Bachelor's degree level, two Bachelor's degree programmes, namely Charity and Social Work in full-time and combined form and the International Social and Humanitarian Work in full-time form, which is unique in Central Europe.

Introduces students to the causes and basic pathogenetic mechanisms of diseases and their morphological manifestations. Students learn basic medical terminology in relation to general aspects of disease.

The center deals with the history, cultural contributions, current development and functioning of Jewish society in our area. The Center for Judaic Studies continues a scholarly tradition that was interrupted in the Czech lands by World War II and the communist period for more than half a century.
