The department provides processing of biological material mainly for transmission and scanning electron microscopy, in the form of collaboration on research projects or as a service.
The university part provides teaching in the areas of theoretical, laboratory and clinical immunology in the form of a core course in the third year of general medicine and the fourth year of dentistry and electives in clinical immunology in the fourth and fifth years of both disciplines.
