We offer professional theatre and music literature in theory and practice, foreign language theatre and music terminology, dictionaries, methodological guides or essays. We also offer proceedings of conferences and seminars of the faculties of JAMU.

We organize theatrical performances performed by college students. We provide street theatre events. We have lighting and sound equipment.

The Musical and Dramatic Laboratory is a new theatre venue of the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno. We operate a theatre that primarily serves the needs of student musical theatre, i.e. opera and musical.

The mission of the centre is to publish study materials for the students of the school and to create quality conditions for the publishing activities of JAMU teachers. It publishes study, educational and professional publications in the field of history and theory of music, theatre, stage design and drama education.

The centre serves as a university dormitory for students of JAMU in Brno. The accommodation uses a cellular system. One cell consists of a hallway, sanitary facilities and two rooms equipped with a telephone, television and the possibility of connecting your own computer to the Internet. The total capacity is 233 beds (double and triple rooms).

We operate a recording studio that is suitable for classical, jazz, popular and film music, spoken word or dubbing. You can choose from several rooms with different acoustic characteristics. We offer services in processing recordings made outside our studio.
