We operate a college offering education focused on theatre production.

Providing education in the field of musical arts. We offer the possibility of studying in the department of foreign languages, percussion, wind or string instruments, music and humanities and music management, piano, organ, historical and jazz performance, composition, conducting and opera direction or singing.

The studio offers tuition in three main disciplines - acting, singing and dance. The main goal of the studio is to produce students who will become actors not only in purely musical houses, but also in theatres of all types and sizes.

We run a cabinet dealing with research in theatre and drama theory. We focus on the documentation and analysis of the work of Brno studio theatres, issues of performativity, analysis of production in theoretical terms or stage design.

We are engaged in teaching in the field of stage design. We focus on analyzing and interpreting themes, mastering artistic devices and acquiring a technological foundation in the field of stage, costumes or exhibitions.

Chamber Opera is a part of the Faculty of Music at the JAMU in Brno, where students of singing, opera directing, orchestral playing and conducting gain practical experience in conditions simulating a theatre environment and operation.

Providing instruction in acting and directing/dramaturgy practical skills. In the Bachelor's degree, teaching focuses on practical skills, methodology of working with youth. Master's follow-up and doctoral studies are focused on acquiring additional theoretical knowledge in the field of dramatic arts.

Providing instruction in playwriting, directing and creative writing. Classes in Years I and II are designed to provide a broad overview of the theory and history of theatre, literature, film, philosophy, visual arts, and music. Starting in the third year, students participate in independent work with students in the acting studios.

The aim of the studio is to educate young artists (creators and performers) in the performing arts, focusing primarily on physical theatre, original acting and a practical approach to working with new media and their scenic use.

The aim of the training is to produce playwrights and scriptwriters who are technically skilled as well as thoughtful and artistically creative. Therefore, in addition to lectures on the creation of radio and television genres, the curriculum includes instruction focused on the social context of mass media, culture, and film typology.
