Operation of a clinical laboratory.

We operate an outpatient clinic for pre-lung transplantation testing. We assess the patient's suitability for transplantation. The patient is usually invited for a one-week diagnostic hospitalization, when he/she is fully examined according to the pre-transplant protocol.

The centre focuses on depistisis of nutritionally at-risk and malnourished patients (screening for malnutrition on admission and during hospitalization), determination of the current food intake, dietary schedule including individual regimens for special diagnoses and specific patients and administration of artificial nutrition supplements.

The department carries out bone densitometric examinations with the most modern Lunar type device, also called DXA, using absorption of radiation of 2 energies. We perform measurements in standard locations - lumbar spine, proximal femur bilaterally and forearm if necessary.

We provide diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. We provide bronchoscopic examinations and interventions for patients from most parts of Prague, Central Bohemia and other regions, both in outpatient mode and in hospitalized patients.
