Operation of the inpatient ward.

We operate a pathology department and a national reference laboratory for TSE-CJN. We perform macroscopic, histological, neurohistological, cytological, immunological and immunohistochemical examinations of biological materials. We deal with the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases.

Operation of a centre for percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy.

Electrophoretic laboratory and special analysis section. Providing electrophoretic testing of blood and urine, typing of monoclonal proteins, typing of proteinuria and hematuria based on indicator proteins, determination of bone isoforms of ALP and determination of specific proteins in serum and urine.

The centre focuses on depistisis of nutritionally at-risk and malnourished patients (screening for malnutrition on admission and during hospitalization), determination of the current food intake, dietary schedule including individual regimens for special diagnoses and specific patients and administration of artificial nutrition supplements.

Operation of an outpatient clinic focusing on hypertension in pregnancy.

Operation of an outpatient pain management clinic.

Full abdominal examination including special examination for GER. We do chest exams - fluids with markings for puncture, thyroid, soft tissue, hip exams, breast exams including biopsies, punctures and markings.

Nephrology outpatient clinic deals with complex diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases. The main focus of the nephrology outpatient clinic is the monitoring of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD 3-5). The aim is to slow the progression of kidney failure, treat complications and prepare for replacement of kidney function.

Outpatient clinic for patients referred for examination and treatment with suspected zoonoses (diseases transmitted from animals to humans).

Operation of a children's ENT.

Endocrinology outpatient clinic providing specialist medical care and consultancy services in the field of endocrinology (diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, pituitary gland, etc.). We also perform thyroid tissue sampling with a fine needle under sonographic control.
