The outpatient clinic provides examination of the nervous system - brain, spinal cord, spine and peripheral nerves, examination of the musculoskeletal system, including the function of the pelvic floor. In addition, examination of soft tissues, breasts, neck and others.

Counseling for salivary gland diseases.

The department offers genetic counselling and performs specialised cytogenetic, molecular cytogenetic and molecular genetic examinations in cooperation with its cytogenetic and molecular genetics laboratories as well as with laboratories throughout the Czech Republic and abroad.

It focuses mainly on the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis, but it also deals with other diagnoses that include autoimmune and demyelinating diseases, such as optic neuromyelitis, other autoimmune diseases associated with the development of demyelinating changes and diseases in development.

We run a burn center. We provide care for patients with thermal injury (heat and cold) at all levels. We also treat electrical injuries, burns, post-traumatic skin defects, chronic skin defects, allergic exfoliative dermatitis and some skin tumors.

The central cloakroom is used for receiving, registering, storing and issuing personal clothes and valuables of patients. Changing cubicles are available for changing patients. Personal belongings are stored in designated areas on changing racks. Valuables are stored in a central safe.

There are spacious double or triple "ROOMING IN" rooms with private bathroom, TV and free internet access. Each newborn cot is equipped with a breathing monitor.

Video-electroencephalography is a diagnostic method based on electroencephalography. Unlike conventional electroencephalography, however, the video-EEG machine also records the patient's image and the sounds in the room along with the electrical activity of the brain.

Operation of a standard nursing station. There are 21 beds.

The laboratory also houses the Centre for the treatment of spasticity and dystonic disorders with the possibility of injecting botulinum toxin into the affected muscles. The main indication is to increase muscle tension in children with cerebral palsy.

We provide comprehensive assistance to patients requiring neurosurgical care in the areas of vascular neurosurgery, spinal surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, central nervous system tumors, brain and spinal cord injuries, and peripheral nerve diseases. We operate a postgraduate teaching facility.

The sleeping area consists of 28 beds divided into 8 triple rooms, 1 double room and 2 superior rooms. All beds are fully equipped to provide post-operative care.
