The work in this section is focused on the investigation of newborn screening for congenital hypothyroidism, congenital adrenal hyperplasia and cystic fibrosis in newborns from the region of Moravia.

Operation of a neonatal physiology unit.

The outpatient clinic provides anesthesia and resuscitation care to patients of all ages.

The clinic performs all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for children with suspected infectious diseases. We run an emergency vaccination centre and an AIDS centre and a centre for children suffering from cystic fibrosis, tuberculosis and chronic respiratory diseases.

We operate an orthoptic training room.

We operate a mammography clinic.

It provides routine tests - PT, aPTT, Fbg, AT, D-Di, TT and special coagulation tests - activity of coagulation factors VIII, IX, XI and XII, F inhibitor VIII and IX, vWF activity and antigen, PC and PS activity, as well as tests for monitoring anticoagulation, antithrombotic and haemophilia treatment.
