We provide teaching for masters and doctoral degrees in the civic sector. We do research with a focus on anthropology of communication and human adaptation or human rights in the civic sector.

We provide teaching for three-year single and double major undergraduate courses and two-year single major masters courses in theatre studies. We conduct research focused on the study of the theory and history of theatre and drama or on the history of modern Czech theatre.

The institute provides teaching in the fields of philosophy and religious studies.

We organize all forms of physical education studies. We run sports facilities and offer educational courses for the public. We sell scripts and professional literature.

We provide undergraduate instruction in the subjects of forensic medicine and toxicology for students in the fields of General Medicine and Dentistry. We are engaged in scientific activities with a focus on pathomorphology, forensic traumatology and forensic toxicology.

We provide tuition for the follow-up Master's degree in Keyboarding. We carry out research activities with a focus on retrospective research on languages and are engaged in publishing activities.

We provide teaching of bachelor studies in Czech language and literature and master studies in Czech language and literature, teaching Czech language and literature for secondary schools or comparative studies. We also offer teaching of doctoral studies in Czech literature and general and comparative literature.

Providing nursing education for all faculty. We are engaged in research and publication activities.

Providing instruction in socio-cultural anthropology, human ethology, historical anthropology or philosophical anthropology. We are engaged in research activities focusing on historical anthropology, cultural and social anthropology and human ethology.
