We provide teaching for postgraduate studies in neuroscience and conduct research activities focusing on membrane properties and functions of glial cells or the origin, mechanisms and pathophysiology of ionic changes in the extracellular space as well as studies in transgenic animals.

We provide teaching of theoretical and computational linguistics in bachelor's and master's degree programs or Mathematical Linguistics in doctoral degree program. We are engaged in scientific research activities focusing on general linguistics and theoretical linguistics.

We provide teaching in the field of histology and embryology.

We provide instruction in subjects in biophysics and medical informatics. We are engaged in publishing activities.

We provide instruction in bioethics and philosophy of medicine or medical psychology and psychotherapy for all faculty students. We are engaged in research activities focusing on research in psychophysiology and cognitive neuroscience as well as research in ethics.

The faculty provides bachelor, master and doctoral studies in social sciences in full-time and combined form.

The institute is significantly involved in teaching undergraduate students in the fields of obesitology, diabetes, physiology and pathophysiology of metabolism and physical medicine, and teaching postgraduate students.

Provides teaching of courses in ethical issues in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Specialization in Health Care or in the Master of Science in Basic Biomedical Sciences, Principles of Clinical Medicine and Clinical Training. We are engaged in scientific research activities.

We provide teaching of English-American Studies in Bachelor and Master degree programs or teaching of English Language, English Language Didactics and English and American Literature in doctoral degree programs.
