We provide the performance of state administration in the field of transport and road management. We determine the use of traffic signs and authorize the connection of adjacent properties and roads to the highway. We exercise professional supervision in the field of taxi and public bus transport.

The Department creates conditions and concepts in the field of physical education and sport. It prepares and participates in the management of investment projects concerning sports and physical education facilities and public sports grounds in the statutory city.

The department conceptualises the development and budgeting of the City's information systems and information technology primarily in terms of departmental priorities and users, legislative changes, departmental intentions in the development of central IS and their implications for the City's IS.
