The Institute is engaged in aviation education, research and testing of aircraft and aviation technology. The Institute offers two courses in Aircraft Construction and Aircraft Operations. The Institute also offers a three-year professional bachelor's degree in Professional Pilot.

The institute provides teaching and scientific research activities in the field of statics, dynamics and reliability of building structures. It offers teaching of subjects focused on structural mechanics, statics, elasticity and plasticity, non-linear and fracture mechanics.

Teaching in the field of semiconductor components, design and construction of microelectronic integrated circuits, systems and electronic devices. We offer bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs.

The institute provides teaching mainly of hardware oriented subjects in all degree programmes, i.e. bachelor, master and doctoral programmes. The scientific research activities of the institute include the architecture of technical and software means of embedded systems.

The department provides teaching of courses in the Master's degree in Information Systems, which includes the areas of programming, formal languages and compilers, database and information systems, computer networks or Internet applications. In addition, it also offers courses in the doctoral programme in Information Technology.

The Institute is the guarantor of the two-year follow-up Master's degree programme in Economics and Management of the study field of Corporate Finance and Business. The aim of the programme is to train highly qualified professionals with a broad perspective in the field of finance and business in the corporate and banking spheres.

Instruction in traffic engineering, traffic flow theory, data collection and analysis, capacity calculations and route design. Verification of suitability of road maintenance materials, verification and assessment of road design standards, road maintenance and repair designs.

The institute provides compulsory and non-compulsory teaching of foreign languages (English, German, Russian, French) for bachelor, master and combined studies. It also provides language training for PhD students in the above-mentioned languages. The classrooms of the Institute of Languages are fully equipped with multimedia equipment.
