The institute provides teaching of undergraduate courses in general nursing and biomedical technology.

The department provides instruction in Czech language and literature and their history. Students are admitted to two undergraduate majors: Specialization in Education - Czech Language and Literature with a concentration in Education and Philology - Czech Language and Literature.

The department provides teaching in the fields of TV teaching, sports management, teaching for primary school level 1 and leisure pedagogy. Scientific research activity is mainly focused on the issues of assessment of physical condition and basic components of physical fitness of youth, including modeling of its further development.

The department provides teaching in the field of thermodynamics of solutions, preparation of special materials, modification of surface properties of fibres and other chemical disciplines. In addition to these professional activities, we contribute to the popularisation of chemistry as a discipline through other events for all age groups.

The department provides teaching of mathematical disciplines including geometry and didactics of mathematics, prepares future mathematics teachers.

Depending on their specialization, students are offered advanced studies in the specializations of Specific Learning and Behavioural Disorders, Czech Language, English Language with Didactics, German Language with Didactics, Mathematics, Music Education and Art Education in addition to the basic studies of teaching for the first stage of primary school.

Faculty provides instruction in degree programs focused on computer science and its connection to technology or logistics operations. Operation of the Institute of Information Technology and Electronics, Mechatronics and Technical Informatics as well as New Technologies and Applied Informatics.

The department provides instruction in the English language, its phonetics, phonology, morphology and syntax, and the realities and literature of English-speaking countries.

Operation of the textile faculty and departments of textile materials, clothing, textile technology, design, textile chemistry, technology and management of clothing production, evaluation of textiles and non-wovens.

The department provides teaching in financial, actuarial and discrete mathematics, computer algebra and history of mathematics. The department also provides teaching of courses dedicated to the use of ICT resources in various fields of study such as Foundations of ICT and Computer Science in Music Education and Production.
